Website and service information

The scope of the proposed service and what happens before a recruitment search is accepted. Updated 29 September 2026.

Who operates Motive & Frame?

Motive & Frame is the trading name of Maximillian Rieghardt Flint, a sole trader. Contact details appear below and the correspondence address appears in the footer. Motive & Frame is establishing a focused permanent recruitment service. Searches are accepted individually under written terms.

Permanent introductions

The proposed service introduces experienced window and door installers to independent businesses across London and the South East for direct permanent employment. Motive & Frame would act as an employment agency. The hiring business employs and pays the successful candidate.

This proposal does not cover supplying temporary workers, managing payroll or subcontracting installation work. The employer service is for businesses; the candidate information is for individuals considering employment.

Before a search begins

Using the website, preparing a brief or making an initial enquiry does not by itself accept a search or create a placement-fee obligation. A search requires a confirmed vacancy, an agreed brief, appropriate written authority and separate written terms.

Those terms will set out the service, fee calculation, payment period, introduction conditions, responsibilities, cancellation arrangements and any replacement or rebate provisions. This page does not replace that agreement.

The proposed employer fee

There is no upfront search fee. The one-off placement fee uses graduated bands on the successful candidate's first-year basic salary: 15% on the first £35,000, 12.5% on the next £30,000, and 10% on any amount above £65,000. The amounts from each band are added together. A lower rate applies only to the salary within that band, not to the whole salary. The fee is invoiced on day 46 only if the hire remains employed beyond the 45-day safety period described below.

For illustration, a £35,000 basic salary gives a £5,250 fee. At £40,000, the fee is £5,875: £5,250 on the first £35,000 plus £625 on the remaining £5,000. These examples are not quotes. The salary definition, applicable tax treatment and full amount payable must be confirmed in the written agreement before a search begins.

45-day placement fee protection

This offer applies to new searches agreed on these terms. The first 45 calendar days begin on the hire's actual employment start date, which counts as day 1. No placement invoice is issued during this period.

If employment ends for any reason within those first 45 calendar days, no placement fee is charged for that hire. There is no invoice to pay and no refund to claim. This refers to the date employment actually ends, not simply the date notice is given.

If the hire remains employed beyond day 45, the agreed placement fee is invoiced on day 46. The payment deadline, salary basis and tax treatment are set out in the written agreement before the search. We confirm the start and, if applicable, end date with the employer.

The protection concerns the placement fee. It does not guarantee a hire, performance, retention, a hiring deadline or a replacement. Any additional replacement or rebate arrangement must be agreed separately. Existing written agreements are unchanged, and the employer's responsibilities to the employee are unaffected.

Information for candidates

Candidate intake is not open and there are no live vacancies advertised on this website. Illustrative hiring briefs are examples only. Please do not send an application, CV, identification documents or references at this stage.

Candidates will not be charged a work-finding fee. An introduction is not an offer of employment, and the hiring decision remains with the employer. Read the candidate information for the planned process.
